Pony Party

This summer is flying by.  Our little girls turned 2 and 5 in June so we celebrated with a joint Pony Party at a local farm here in New Jersey.  I wanted to do something outdoors but since the kids are mostly under 5 a pool type of party didn't make sense and this seemed like a cute idea. The kids rode horses, took a hayride to the barn with a petting area and roamed the farm playing. I love to decorate and although I couldn't do much at the farm I did add some plaid and burlap touches.  Here are some photos of the girls' special day below along with some of the awesome Etsy shops we used to help tie in the Pony theme.

Ava Rose's first time riding a horse.

These handmade ponies from SewNso Handmade were kind of a hit.  The kids played with them nearly the entire time and they are just adorable!  They make the cutest custom favors.

The Pickled Peanut made my girls custom hair bows and this beautiful birthday banners.  She did such a beautiful job and her shop is basically girl mom heaven.

The girls' outfits were from Old Navy.

The invites are one of my favorite parts about party planning.  They set the tone and these were absolutely perfect!  I found Little Legal Designs while searching on Etsy and she was wonderful to work with.  She has just about everything, banners, stationary, labels, all of your party needs. The turnaround time was super quick and her designs are all so so gorgeous!

These custom cake toppers from Pigment Botanicals here in New Jersey are just stunning.  Everything she makes is perfection.  She even customized the flowers on he horses to match the girls' invites. My girls now play with these in their Melissa & Doug Barn.

It's Twinkle Time made these adorable custom photo props for the party.  She was great to work with and has so many options! My kids are still playing with these.

Panda Pea Boutique made us these theme fitting Cowgirl hair ties for all of the girls.

We loved these chocolate pops from Candy Confections.  I think she has every mold imaginable. We also had chocolate but they got eaten before I could grab a photo.  I had them stuck in two small bails of hay as favors.

Thank you to everyone for sharing their special day!

Please feel free to leave any questions in the comment section!
